…So 7th Pay Commission will be implemented in Bengal within 45 days, Amit Shah made a big promise
West Bengal Elections: Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched his Parivartan Yatra from Mathurapur in South 24 Parganas on Monday in a scathing attack on Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and her nephew Abhishek Banerjee. Amit Shah said that till now the names of infiltrators are being removed from the voter list, hence Mamata Banerjee is facing problems. He claimed that if BJP government is formed in Bengal, then each and every infiltrator will be selectively thrown out of Bengal.
Referring to the attacks on BJP workers during the Panchayat elections, he said that many people lost their lives, many became disabled and many have not returned home even today. Shah said, “Mamata Didi thinks that BJP people will be scared by this terror of hers. But today I am leaving Mathurapur asking them to form the BJP government once. We will work to straighten Mamata Banerjee’s goons by hanging them upside down. Each one will be selected and put behind the bars.”
Accusations against Mamta Banerjee
Amit Shah said that Mamata Banerjee’s aim is not the welfare of the people of Bengal, but her aim is to make Abhishek Banerjee the Chief Minister. He mentioned various scams in the state, including teacher recruitment, municipal corporation recruitment, cow smuggling, PDS ration, MNREGA and PM Awas Yojana scams. Shah alleged that Mamata is sending the DGP who patronized these scams to the Rajya Sabha.
Taunt on madrassas and budget
Shah said that recently the budget of West Bengal was passed, in which only Rs 80 crore was given for science and technology, while madrassas got Rs 5,700 crore. He raised the question whether TMC’s priority is to provide employment to the youth or to increase the number of madrassas? He said that this appeasement is hindering the development of Bengal and the state is immersed in a debt of Rs 8 lakh crore.
