Bengal Elections 2026: Amit Shah released ‘manifesto’, made this big claim of development and change
Kolkata. Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday visited West Bengal, where he released the manifesto of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the upcoming assembly elections 2026. The party has named this manifesto as “Letter of Trust”.
The manifesto claims to include all sections of society, with particular emphasis on the development of women, farmers and youth. Before releasing, Amit Shah said that West Bengal is currently plagued by Trinamool Congress (TMC) and this time there is a need for change in the state.
Roadmap for development of every section: Amit Shah-
Releasing the manifesto, Amit Shah described it as a comprehensive development plan for the state. He said that this resolution letter has been prepared keeping in mind the expectations of every section and will show the way to take the state out of the present atmosphere of despair.
He further said that special schemes have been included to provide relief to farmers from the challenges of the agriculture sector, while special attention has also been given to empowerment of youth and women. It also includes the resolve to restore the cultural identity and pride of Bengal.
Big promises on employees and schemes-
Amit Shah made a big announcement for the government employees and said that DA will be ensured to all the employees. Apart from this, central government schemes like Seventh Pay Commission and Ayushman Bharat will be implemented within 45 days.
He also said that steps would be taken towards implementing the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) within six months. For women, he announced that the beneficiaries of “Lakshmi Bhandar” scheme will be sent an amount of ₹3000 directly into their accounts between 1st to 5th of every month.
Amit Shah will also hold public meetings and road shows.
Amit Shah posted on social media platform He wrote that he is excited to live among the people of Bengal and has come with a resolve to free the state “from the fear of TMC”.
