Bengal Elections: ‘This election is not fought by Modi, but by the people…’, Why did PM Modi make such a big attack on Mamata government in Nadia?

Voting is going on for 152 seats under the first phase of West Bengal Assembly elections. Amidst this chaos, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a huge public meeting in Krishnanagar in Nadia district. PM Modi’s attitude appeared very tough today and he selectively attacked Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress (TMC) government.

PM’s strong attack on TMC’s syndicate rule

Addressing the public meeting, PM Modi said that there is huge anger among the public against TMC MLAs, ministers and local leaders in every corner of Bengal. He claimed that in many districts even TMC’s account will not be opened this time. The PM said with full confidence, “This time I have visited every corner of Bengal and from the public enthusiasm I have seen, it is clear that this time the departure of TMC is certain.”

‘The people of Bengal are fighting this election, not Modi’

Giving a big statement, PM Modi said that just as the people of Bengal had blown the trumpet against the Left 15 years ago, in the same way today the people of Bengal are blowing the trumpet against Trinamool’s ‘Jungle Raj’ in every street and locality. He said emotionally, “Neither Modi nor my friends are contesting this election. This time the people of Bengal are contesting the Bengal elections themselves and the leadership of this election is also in their hands. Wherever I go, people say only one thing – enough is enough!”

Every section is voting for fear-free Bengal: Modi

The Prime Minister explained in detail how every section of Bengal is voting for change today. He said that after 15 years it is clearly visible that farmers are voting for independence due to the fear of the market. Government employees want to come out of the fear of TMC. Doctors are voting for a better health system, while lawyers are voting in the hope of justice.

Not only this, the PM while mentioning teachers, shopkeepers, rickshaw and taxi drivers said that all these people want freedom from ‘Syndicate Raj’. He also said that Bengal Police itself is now looking towards change to serve the public instead of following the orders of goons. According to PM Modi, every region and every section of Bengal now wants to express confidence in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and give it a chance.
