‘Bengal freed from shackles, pride is returning’ – PM Modi’s big message on West Bengal Day, gift of many development projects

On the occasion of West Bengal Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday gave a big statement regarding West Bengal. He said that now new freshness and new fragrance is being felt in the air of the state. It seems that Bengal has been freed from the shackles and the phase of regaining its glory has begun.

During the program held in Tarakeshwar, the Prime Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of several development projects. He said that today’s program is proof that West Bengal is now moving rapidly towards building a new future.

“One vote changed the picture”

Prime Minister Modi said that happiness and confidence are visible on the faces of people in every village of West Bengal. He said that an example of how much change a single vote of the public can bring is clearly visible in West Bengal today.

He said that the state is now moving forward on the new path of development and good governance.

Gave the gift of many big projects

On this occasion, the Prime Minister launched many important schemes related to farmers and infrastructure. These included release of the 23rd installment of the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN), implementation of the Prime Minister’s Crop Insurance Scheme (PMFBY) in West Bengal, inauguration of the Sankrail-Santragachi Link Line Project in Howrah district, foundation stone of a new 300-bed railway hospital and laying of the foundation stone of the Road Over Bridge Project in Purba Medinipur.

The Prime Minister said that these schemes will provide huge benefits to farmers, travelers and the general public.

mentioned history

In his address, Prime Minister Modi also mentioned the historical role of West Bengal at the time of partition. He said that at one time a conspiracy was hatched to merge the entire Bengal with Pakistan, but due to the struggle of many nationalist leaders including Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee, West Bengal remained a part of India.

He said that an attempt was made to forget that historical struggle for a long time and the history was suppressed for political reasons.

Targeted at Congress, Left parties and TMC

The Prime Minister launched a scathing attack on the Congress, Left parties and Trinamool Congress, saying that these governments promoted appeasement and illegal infiltration instead of giving development direction to West Bengal.

He alleged that for a long time there was migration of industries in the state, reduction in employment opportunities and protection to illegal infiltrators. He said that after the formation of the new government, stalled works like fencing in border areas have gained momentum and an environment for industrial investment is being created.

“Cutfall is over, development begins”

Prime Minister Modi said that now the politics of Katmani is ending in the state and development works are being given priority. He claimed that the people involved in illegal extortion have fled and the public is now living their lives without any fear.

He said that West Bengal is not going to stop now and will create a new history of development in the times to come.

Appeal to participate in Yoga Day

At the end of his address the Prime Minister also mentioned International Yoga Day. He said that on June 21, he himself will participate in the Yoga Day program in West Bengal. He appealed to the people of the state to participate in yoga programs in large numbers, saying that yoga is the basis of a healthy and balanced life.
