Whereas the T280 turbo-petrol engine gives power of 164 PS and torque of 280 Nm. It has the option of 6-speed manual and 6-speed DCT automatic transmission. This engine claims a mileage of 17.8 kmpl to 18.5 kmpl depending on the variant.

Kia Seltos: Benefits of both petrol and diesel engines
Kia Seltos is offered with two petrol and one diesel engine options.

The regular petrol engine returns a mileage of up to 16.5 kmpl with manual and CVT transmission.
The diesel manual variant claims a mileage of up to 19.4 kmpl.
The diesel automatic version returns up to 17.8 kmpl.
The turbo-petrol DCT variant gives a mileage of up to 17.5 kmpl and the turbo-petrol iMT version gives a mileage of up to 15.6 kmpl.

Which SUV is ahead in mileage?
If mileage alone is considered, then both Nissan Tekton T160 and Kia Seltos Diesel Manual claim mileage of up to 19.4 kmpl.

Talking about the price, the starting ex-showroom price of Nissan Tekton is Rs 10.49 lakh, while its top variant goes up to Rs 18.59 lakh.

Whereas the starting ex-showroom price of Kia Seltos is Rs 10.99 lakh and its top variant is available up to Rs 19.99 lakh.
