Bettor Wins $1.7 Million Parlay After Spurs’ Stunning Game 7 Victory: “All You Gotta Do Is Believe”
One sports bettor turned confidence into a life-changing payday after the San Antonio Spurs defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 7 of the 2026 NBA Western Conference Finals. The bettor, known on social media as “Parlay Prince,” cashed a remarkable four-leg futures parlay worth approximately $1.7 million after the Spurs completed the final leg of the ticket.
The wager was originally placed on February 14 through DraftKings Sportsbook. With a $2,500 stake, the bettor built a long-shot parlay featuring four major championship outcomes across different sports. The selections included Team USA men’s hockey winning Olympic gold, Michigan capturing the NCAA men’s basketball championship, the New York Knicks winning the Eastern Conference, and the San Antonio Spurs winning the Western Conference title.
At the time the bet was placed, few people expected all four outcomes to happen. The combined odds reached an eye-popping +68528, creating a potential payout of more than $1.7 million.
What made the story even more dramatic was the bettor’s refusal to cash out despite multiple offers from DraftKings. As the Spurs moved closer to elimination during the Western Conference Finals, the sportsbook repeatedly presented six-figure cashout opportunities. Before Game 6, the offer reportedly dropped to around $293,000. After San Antonio forced a Game 7, the cashout rose to more than $612,000.
Most bettors would have taken the guaranteed money.
Parlay Prince did not.
He believed the Spurs would finish the job and declined every offer. According to reports, he felt the cashout value was lower than it should have been for a winner-take-all Game 7 situation and decided to trust his original prediction.
That faith paid off on Saturday night.
The Spurs stunned the Thunder 111-103 in Oklahoma City, securing the Western Conference championship and sending San Antonio to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2014. Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs delivered the final result needed to complete the massive parlay.
After the victory became official, the bettor celebrated on social media with a simple message:
“All you gotta do is believe.”
The win quickly became one of the most talked-about betting stories of the NBA postseason. Sports betting communities praised the bettor’s nerve, especially considering he passed on guaranteed payouts worth hundreds of thousands of dollars while the Spurs faced elimination twice during the series.
The ticket also represented several long-awaited championship breakthroughs. Before these victories, Team USA men’s hockey had not won Olympic gold since 1980, Michigan basketball had not won a national title since 1989, the Knicks had not reached the NBA Finals since 1999, and the Spurs had not appeared in the Finals since 2014.
For one bettor who trusted all four teams months before the results became reality, that belief turned a $2,500 wager into one of the most memorable $1.7 million payouts of the year.
