Washington: Pop icon Beyoncé mimics Pamela Anderson in a surprise music video for the track 'Bodyguard' from her album Cowboy Carter, E! News told. The video shows Beyoncé wearing a red swimsuit like Anderson did when she starred in the 'Baywatch' series. She also adopts Anderson's look from the 1996 film 'Barb Wire', wearing a black dress and high boots, as well as her outfit at the 1999 MTV Video Music Awards. E! News reported, “The latest music video for 'Bodyguard' from Beyoncé's album Cowboy Carter features some of Pamela Anderson's hottest looks.” In a historic moment, 'Cowboy Carter' also reached the top of Billboard's Top Country Albums chart. The album's singles, 'Texas Hold 'Em' and '16 Carriages', released during the Super Bowl festivities, also made a significant impact on the charts. According to a report from Billboard, both tracks topped Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart, marking Beyoncé's first entries on the tally and further cementing her place in the country music landscape.

In an interview in September, Beyoncé said, “I thought it was important that in a time when we only see the visuals, the world can focus on the sound,” adding, “There's a lot of music history and musical instruments. It takes months to digest, research and understand. The music needs space to breathe on its own. Sometimes, one can distract from the sound and the quality of the music.”
