Bhagwant Mann’s anti-Sikh agreement before Punjab elections, Akal Takht gives verdict
A big development has come to light in Punjab on Monday. Akal Takht has termed Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann as ‘anti-Khalsa Panth’. This step can have a big impact on the politics of the state in the future. ‘Akal Takht’ is the highest religious throne of Sikhism and it has given the verdict against Mann.
Akal Takht on Monday termed Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party leader Bhagwant Mann as anti-Sikh. Takht has said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is declared Guru Dokhi and anti-Khalsa Panth. It has also been said that Guru Nanak should not touch the name of Sikh Sangat Bhagwant Maan.
Will Sikhs boycott CM Mann?
Akal Takht Jathedar Kuldeep Singh Gargaj announced the decision after a meeting of five Singh Sahibans (high priests) on Monday. This simply means that Sikhs have been asked to boycott CM Mann.

What is the whole matter?
Actually, this is a year old video of CM Bhagwant Mann. This video went viral on social media, which also sparked controversy. In this video, Bhagwant Mann was seen spraying liquor on the picture of Guru Sahib and Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale and abusing. However, later CM Mann said about the video that it was made with AI. In the case, Akal Takht also later claimed that forensic investigation had confirmed that Bhagwant Mann had insulted the Gurus.

Akal Takht said what?
Jathedar Kuldeep said, ‘We questioned the Chief Minister about that video and he claimed that it was made with AI. We asked them for proof of this but did not get any reply for six months. Then we got the video examined by two labs approved by the Government of India, which revealed that the video is neither fake nor made with AI. Today, the Panth took action on the matter and took a decision.
He said that CM Mann lied on Akal Takht and has been declared guilty or anti-guru before the Guru.
In view of the increasing controversy in Punjab, Aam Aadmi Party says that what is the proof that the person seen in the video is Bhagwant Mann. Assembly elections are also to be held in Punjab next year.
