Bhapa Doi: Welcome guests with this Bengali sweet.

Bhapa Doi Recipe:The world of sweets is very big. However, most of the people roam around and try the same sweets again and again. Many times this also causes boredom because the tongue is always looking for a new taste. If you want to try something different and tasty then you can rely on Bengali dish Bhapa Doi. It can be prepared on ordinary days as well as on any special occasion. This dish is less sweet and looks like rabri. The way of making and serving it is quite different from other sweets.

2 cups curd

1 cup condensed milk

3/4 tsp cardamom powder

1 handful rose leaves

saffron fibers

�विधि��

To make this, keep curd in a cotton cloth for some time.

– This has to be done for at least two hours.

– When all the water is drained from the curd, take it out in a vessel.

Then add condensed milk and cardamom powder and mix well.

– Grease a cake tin and cover with foil.

– Simultaneously heat water in another vessel and keep a stand.

– Place the cake tin and then let it steam for 20 minutes.

– When it gets steamed, check with a tooth pick and then after it cools down, take it out on a plate.

Garnish it with rose leaves and saffron strands.
