With the release of Bharath’s upcoming action film Weighed 2 set for April 3, the makers of the film announced that it has cleared censorship formalities by obtaining a U/A certificate.
Besides Bharath, Weighed 2 stars Ajay Karthi in the lead. As reported earlier, Sri Senthil has returned to direct the sequel after helming the first part.
Weighed 2 also sees the return of Sangita Madhavan to Tamil cinema after 26 years. Her last Tamil release was Kann Thirandhu Paaramma (2000). Apart from Sangita, the cast of the upcoming sequel also includes Prakash Raj and Kishore in key roles, along with Suresh Menon, Anant Nag, Bhavani Sre, Raja Ravindra, Abarnathi, Singam Jayavel, and DM Karthik in supporting characters.
