Ashneer Grover's card cut off from BharatPe, company gives statement

New Delhi : Fintech company BharatPe has given a big statement about its former co-founder Ashneer Grover. In which the company has claimed that now Ashneer will not be a part of the company in any way nor will he have any shares in the company. Let us tell you that Ashneer Grover was removed from the post of Managing Director of BharatPe by the company's board of directors in March 2022. Since then a legal battle is being fought between BharatPe and Ashneer Grover.

“BharatPe has entered into a definitive agreement with its former co-founder Ashneer Grover,” BharatPe said in a statement. Under the contract, Grover will not be associated with BharatPe in any capacity nor will he hold any shares in the company.

decision not to proceed

Following the agreement, some of Grover's shares will be transferred to the 'Resilient Growth Trust' for the benefit of the company and his remaining shares will be managed by his family trust. “Both parties have decided not to pursue the filed cases,” the statement said. We wish Grover all the best. BharatPe will continue to focus on providing industry-leading solutions to its merchants and customers. ,

allegation of fraud

Actually, Ashneer Grover was accused of fraud of Rs 81 crore with BharatPe. For this reason a case was also registered against him. When Ashneer Grover and his wife Madhuri Jain Grover had sought permission from the Delhi High Court to go to America, the Delhi High Court had asked them to deposit this money as security. But now Ashneer Grover and his wife Madhuri Jain Grover have returned to India. After his return to India, Justice Sanjeev Narula had ordered the return of the money deposited in the court. After this decision of Delhi High Court, Ashneer Grover's lawyer Giriraj Subramaniam had also accepted the fact of getting the money back.
