Bhopal AIIMS Snatching: Bhopal : Currently, a video from Bhopal AIIMS is going viral on social media (Viral News) is happening. Shocking video of theft from Bhopal AIIMS has come to light. A woman employee’s mangalsutra was stolen from the lift in broad daylight. This incident has been caught on CCTV. The video raised serious questions about women’s safety (Bhopal Crime) and women are seen to be unsafe in the hospital as well.

The victim has been identified as Varsha Soni, an attendant in the gynecology department. While on duty, she was alone in the elevator behind the blood bank. A masked man entered the elevator and asked for the eye department floor. After this, as the lift reached the third floor, the accused assaulted her and stole the mangalsutra from her neck.

The thief pushed the victim and snatched the gold bead chain and mangalsutra from her neck and ran away. The chain broke, but the robber holding the mangalsutra fled down the stairs as the elevator doors opened. This incident happened yesterday evening (January 26).

The entire incident was recorded in the CCTV camera installed in the lift. In the footage, the face of the accused is seen covered by a mask. It has become difficult to identify the thief. The accused ran away from the stairs towards the IPD gate. Police are investigating based on this footage.

There are questions about the safety of women in Bhopal

This incident happened in a big institution like AIIMS. No security guards were present in the lift area at the time of the incident. As Sunday was a holiday and January 26 was a Republic Day holiday, the hospital was largely empty. According to reports, the victim was crying for about 10 minutes after the incident, after which a guard saw her and reported the incident. The woman filed a complaint at the Bagsewania police station. The police have seized the CCTV footage and have launched a search for the accused. No one has been arrested yet. Further investigation is underway. This incident has raised concerns about the safety of women in Bhopal. Even in hospitals like AIIMS, people are shocked to see such an incident.
