Now tribal students will study from digital board in MP, plan for e-library is also coming soon

Now the state government is going to take a new initiative for the tribal students in Madhya Pradesh. Here, the campaign to digitize Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) for children has started. Now tribal students will be taught using digital boards in the class rooms instead of black or white boards. Digital boards will be installed in the classrooms of special category educational institutions under the Tribal Affairs Department. The department is taking necessary steps for this.

While giving this information, Dr. Kunwar Vijay Shah, Minister of Tribal Affairs, Public Asset Management and Bhopal Gas Tragedy Relief and Rehabilitation of Madhya Pradesh, said that necessary steps are being taken by the department to install digital boards. He informed that the boards are being purchased and installed from 'capital item' for installing digital boards in all Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) under the department. Similarly, digital boards will also be installed in all departmental girls education complexes and model residential schools. For this, a proposal has been given to the state government to increase the provision of funds from 'contingency item'.

E-library will be available here

Tribal Affairs Minister Dr. Shah said that e-library will also be started in all 89 tribal development block headquarters of the state. A demand proposal for the required amount of money has also been prepared for setting up the design and equipment of the e-library. The exercise to obtain proposal permission and budget allocation from the state government has been started.

PVTG hostel facility will be available

Tribal Affairs Minister Dr. Shah said that Baiga, Bharia and Sahariya are three particularly vulnerable and backward tribes (PVTG) living in the state. PVTG hostel buildings will be built to provide facilities to the students of these tribes to study while staying in the divisional headquarters. He told that initially these PVTG hostel buildings will be built in Jabalpur and Gwalior. After this, it is being considered to build a similar PVTG hostel building at Shahdol divisional headquarters also.
