Bhopal Meat Truck Seizure: The atmosphere in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, became extremely tense last night when a truck loaded with meat packets was caught right in front of the Police Headquarters (PHQ). At around 12 o’clock on Wednesday night, workers of Hindu organization stopped this truck, after which there was chaos there. When a search was conducted and huge packets of meat were found inside, the anger of the people reached the seventh sky. Within no time a huge crowd gathered there and sloganeering started, due to which the entire area echoed.

Angry people alleged that the packets were filled with beef. As soon as this news spread like wildfire, the crowd went out of control and the angry workers vandalized the truck. Seeing the seriousness of the situation, Jahangirabad police immediately reached there and after a lot of effort, pacified the crowd by giving advice. The police immediately took charge of the situation and kept the meat sample safe in the veterinary hospital for testing. At the same time, one suspect was caught from the spot and handed over to the police, while another accused managed to escape taking advantage of the darkness.

Conspiracy to send abroad through Hyderabad

Hindu Utsav Committee President Chandrashekhar Tiwari has made serious allegations regarding this incident. He told that his workers were getting intelligence for the last several days that suspicious meat was being slaughtered in a slaughter house in the city. There was also information that this meat is being packed in packets and supplied abroad through Hyderabad and Mumbai. On the basis of this concrete information, the workers laid a trap and surrounded the truck and stopped it. During the search, their suspicion turned into belief when a huge number of meat packets were recovered from inside the truck.

Immediate strict action should be taken against the mastermind

The people of the organization have demanded from the administration to take strictest action against all the culprits involved in this case. Chandrashekhar Tiwari stressed that immediate action should be taken against the accused. He has demanded that the mastermind behind this entire game of meat smuggling should also be arrested as soon as possible. He says that this is not just a case of one truck, but a big racket is working behind it. At present, the police have started investigation and the forensic report of the meat is awaited so that the truth can come out.
