Bhumi Pednekar Completes Filming For Daldal, Calls It One Of Her 'Most Complex Characters'

Bhumi Pednekar has wrapped up the shoot of her upcoming web series, Daldal. The actor took to her Instagram to share a note where she reflected on this year long with the project. She called her role as one of her “most complex characters” and also praised the other cast and crew of the series.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, Bhumi Pednekar shared a note for the team of Daldal. She mentioned how she had been working on the series for a year. She wrote how the team braved the monsoon to work tirelessly on the project. She said, “My year long journey with #Daldal finished today. Hands down one of my most complex characters. Am nervous! Had the opportunity to work with such sublime actors and creators on the show. We braved the mumbai monsoons, shot in the toughest conditions and yet our spirits could never be dampened. Kudos to us all.”

Daldal is being helmed by Amrit Raj Singh. The actor will be seen playing the role of a cop in the a series. In an earlier interview, she had opened up about her role in Daldal. “Rita is a super achiever, a glass-ceiling breaker, a rewriter of rules in a man’s world. She is ambitious, ferociously passionate about her job and leads from the front. These are the kinds of women I idolise,” she said to ANI. The series will be released on Amazon Prime Video.

On the work front, Pednekar was last seen in Bhakshak where she played the role of Vaishali Singh. She will also be next seen in The Royals which will be streaming on Netflix. She made her debut in Bollywood in 2015 with Sharat Katariya’s Dum Laga Ke Haisha.
