IPL 2026: Royal Challengers Bangalore’s star fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar is creating havoc in the Indian Premier League 2026. Now Bhuvi is bowling lethal bowling in the 54th match of IPL 2026 against Mumbai Indians. In this match, Bhuvi broke the back of Mumbai Indians by dismissing Ryan Rickelton, Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav in a single over. With this Bhuvi again captured the Purple Cap. Not only this, Bhuvneshwar Kumar has become the second bowler to take the most wickets in the powerplay in the IPL 2026 season.

Gujarat Titans fast bowler Kagiso Rabada is on top in terms of taking most wickets during powerplay (1-6 overs) in IPL 2026. Rabada has taken 13 wickets at an economy rate of 9.17. Whereas Bhuvneshwar Kumar has taken 12 wickets in the powerplay. He has bowled at an economy rate of 6.91. In third place is Joffra Archer, who took 9 wickets and his economy rate was 9.36. After this, Mohammad Siraj has taken 8 wickets at an economy rate of 7.73. Mohammed Shami is at fifth position with 7 wickets at an economy rate of 7.42.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar has so far taken 20 wickets in 11 matches in IPL 2026 and currently has the Purple Cap in his name. That means Bhuvi is on top in terms of taking most wickets in IPL 2026. With the form Bhuvi is in, he can win the Purple Cap this year.
