“Bhuvneshwar Kumar to GT for INR 8 crore, No LSG return for KL Rahul”: Aakash Chopra makes big predictions
Aakash Chopra said that Gujarat Titans will target Bhuvneshwar Kumar at the IPL 2025 mega auction. He feels that the franchise might be ready to spend INR 8 crore on the pacer.
The Titans have retained five players for INR 51 crore. Rashid Khan ( INR 18 crore), Shubman Gill (INR 16.50 crore), Sai Sudharshan (IND 8.50 crore), Rahul Tewatia (INR 4 crore) and Shahrukh Khan (INR 4 crore). They have INR 69 crore left in their purse.
Aakash Chopra also said that the franchise might used their RTM card for one among David Miller, Noor Ahmad and Mohammed Shami.
“They might have saved the RTM card for Shami but it can be used for Noor Ahmad and David Miller. They will go for Bhuvneshwar Kumar and are likely to spend INR 8 crore for his services,” he said.
Aakash further mentioned that Lucknow Super Giants will not bid for KL Rahul in the auction. The franchise released him ahead of the auction.
“They need batters, but their relationship with KL Rahul is not good. The statement of the owner and Rahul shows that there were no proper goodbyes. I don’t see him playing for LSG again.”
