Big accident in Maharashtra: Roof of assembly hall in Hanuman temple collapsed, three devotees died, many injured
Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. A part of the roof of the Hanuman temple collapsed in Yashwadi village of Parbhani district in Maharashtra on Saturday afternoon. At least three people died in this accident, while many people are injured. A police officer gave this information. This village is situated on Manvat Marg and is about 190 kilometers from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
An official said, “Part of the roof of the sabha-mandap (outer hall) of the temple collapsed around 3.30 pm. The police and district administration have sent their teams and the rescue operation is underway. So far, around 25 people have been pulled out from under the debris.”
At the same time, the police said that so far at least three people have died in this accident, while many people have been injured. According to the police, rescue teams are engaged in relief operations. Another official said that since it was Saturday, there was a crowd of devotees in the temple.
There was shouting in the campus, rescue operation started
After the incident, there was an outcry in the campus and with the help of the local administration and villagers, a rescue operation was started on a war footing to remove the debris and take out the trapped people. Since it was Saturday, there was a huge crowd of devotees gathered in the temple for darshan.
