Big accident: Three laborers riding a pickup died, seven injured in Sultanpur road accident.

Sultanpur. Three laborers died in a road accident at around 1 am last night on the Purvanchal Expressway in Sultanpur district of Uttar Pradesh. Seven others were seriously injured. The police have sent all the bodies for post-mortem.

Veeru, a pickup driver from Rae Bareli, was going to Azamgarh last night with 14 laborers. On the way, an unknown truck hit the pickup from behind. After the collision, the truck driver fled towards Ghazipur and the pickup vehicle overturned.

In this accident, Ajay Kumar (30), son Ram Naresh, resident of Gambhirpur, Rae Bareli, Kisan Pal (30) died on the spot, who were brought dead to Dostpur CHC. Rajoli (35), son of Ram Naresh, resident of Gambhirpur, Rae Bareli, died during treatment at Ambedkar Nagar District Hospital.

Ashok (40) son of Naresh Pasi (45) son of Shriram, Ramprasad (40) son of Nanku, Vinod (40) son of Gurudev, Dilip (35) son of Shiv Shankar, Rajesh (40) son of Bhurelal and Raju (30) son of Ramnaresh are involved in the accident. After first aid, all of them have been referred from Dostpur Hospital to Ambedkar Nagar District Hospital.

During the rescue operation, another accident occurred due to extreme fog. A pickup laden with chickens going from Sultanpur to Bihar first hit the safety cone and then collided with the crashed pickup. The name of the driver of the pickup vehicle is Salman. He is a resident of Khorpur Buzurg, Police Station Sangrampur, Amethi. In this second collision, pickup driver Salman was also injured, who was sent by ambulance to Government Hospital Dostpur and later referred to Akbarpur District Hospital. Dostpur Inspector Anirudh Singh said on Saturday that the bodies of the deceased have been sent for post-mortem and their families have been informed. Further action will be taken upon receipt of the application.
