Big action in Bihar: Illegal encroachment will be removed from 9.36 acres of Defense Department land

Muzaffarpur: The administration has started taking strict steps to remove illegal encroachment on Defense Department land in Muzaffarpur district of Bihar. After receiving complaints for a long time, the process of removing encroachment has now been expedited. Under this action, preparations are being made to free about 9.36 acres of defense land from illegal occupation.

Formation of five-member committee

Mushahari zonal administration has formed a five-member committee to monitor this entire matter and carry forward the action in a systematic manner. Anchal Amin and other revenue personnel have been included in this committee. The main work of the committee will be to correctly identify the land, get it measured and make a detailed assessment of the encroachment situation.

Information about land sought from army

The zonal officer has contacted the Defense Department officials and requested to provide complete details of the defense land present in the zonal area. This will make it easier to check land related records and the administration will be able to take action on the right basis.

Illegal encroachers will get time

According to the instructions of the Revenue and Land Reforms Department, first the land will be measured and clearly identified and pillars will be installed there. After this, those who have illegally occupied the land will be given 15 days to vacate it. After the stipulated time limit, the administration will start the action to remove the encroachment.

Document verification and rejection process

Following the request of the Army, investigation of documents and records related to the land has also been started. The zonal administration has sent a letter to the Commandant of the Defense Department informing that to keep the land safe, the process of filing and rejecting will also be started. This will make the land records clear and there will be no disputes in future.

The administration has clearly indicated that any kind of illegal occupation of Defense Department land in the district will not be accepted. The committee formed will monitor the entire process and ensure that the land is freed from encroachment as soon as possible.
