Big action in Goa fire incident: Luthra Brothers reached Delhi, Goa Police arrested at airport
Goa fire: The operation to bring back the Luthra brothers, who were absconding to India after the massive fire that broke out on December 6 at the nightclub ‘Birch by Romeo Lane’ in Arpora, Goa, has been completed. Both the accused were brought from Thailand to Delhi on Monday, where as their flight landed at the airport, Goa Police was already present. As soon as they got off the flight, both were taken into custody and the process of arresting them was started.
Luthra Brothers reached Delhi from Thailand
The Luthra brothers were brought to Delhi from Phuket, Thailand on 16 December 2026. He reached India on Indigo flight 6E-1064. Security and legal procedures were strictly followed during their return. Both were taken into custody as soon as they landed at the airport, and will first undergo a medical examination. After this both will be produced in Patiala Court of Delhi for transit remand.

According to sources, as soon as both the accused got off the flight, they were taken into custody. He will first have to undergo medical examination and then will be produced in the court. Earlier, on December 11, he was detained in Phuket, Thailand. After that, it was brought to Bangkok on 12th December, from where the process of bringing it to India started.

On December 11, on the initiative of Goa Police, the passports of the Luthra brothers were suspended. Along with this, a Lookout Circular (LOC) was also issued against him so that he could not leave the country.
Suspicion of fire and escape plan
Investigation has revealed that when the fire broke out in the nightclub at around 1:17 am on December 6, the owners had planned to flee to Thailand. According to Goa Police, the Luthra brothers had booked tickets to Phuket on the night of December 7. Since the incident, investigation was going on regarding the role of both of them.
It is noteworthy that 25 people had died in this accident that took place at midnight on 6th December. This incident created a sensation in the entire area and after this the search for the Luthra brothers started.
