Big announcement of UP government: 1 big good news for students

Lucknow. The Uttar Pradesh government has taken an important step for lakhs of children studying in government schools. The scheme of providing school bags to students from classes 1 to 8 is being implemented more rapidly this time. The government has set a big budget on this scheme for the new academic session, which makes it clear that the basic needs of children are being given priority.

Big budget received for this scheme

The government has made a provision of hundreds of crores of rupees for this initiative, of which a large amount has already been approved. Its objective is to ensure that the scheme is implemented on time and more and more students can benefit from it. This scheme is not limited to council schools only, but government, aided and schools run by other departments are also included in it.

Money will reach the account directly through DBT

To make the scheme transparent, the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system has been adopted. Under this, the amount fixed for school bags will be sent directly to the bank accounts of the parents or guardians of the children. This will not only make the process easier but will also reduce the chances of any glitches or delays.

Poor families will get support

The main objective of this scheme is to help children from economically weaker families. Many times, due to lack of resources, children are deprived of basic educational facilities. In such a situation, this initiative can prove helpful in making their studies easier.

Enthusiasm towards education will increase

The government believes that such schemes will increase children’s interest in going to school and reduce the dropout rate. Additionally, an increase in enrollment may also be seen. When students get the necessary facilities, they will be able to concentrate more on their studies.
