Along with Oli, his former Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak has also been detained. According to the police spokesperson, this action has been taken on the basis of the recommendations of the ‘Gauri Bahadur Karki Commission’ constituted in the matter of police repression and deaths during the ‘Gen Z’ protests last year.
