‘Big bang’ in Bihar politics! Will Nitish’s chief ministerial tenure end on April 10? Will resign only after taking oath of Rajya Sabha
Patna/Delhi: The biggest news of this time is coming out from the politics of Bihar, which can change the entire political map of the state. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is going to take oath as Rajya Sabha member on April 10. According to information received from sources, Nitish will reach Delhi on April 9 itself and will take the oath of office and secrecy in the chamber of the Rajya Sabha Chairman the next day.
Immediately after this swearing-in, Nitish Kumar will return to Patna and submit his resignation from the post of Chief Minister. However, the people of the state will have to wait a little for the formation of a new government in Bihar. The process of forming a new government in Bihar will begin only after ‘Kharmas’ ends on 14th April.
Nitish had already resigned, now it’s Delhi’s turn
Let us tell you that Nitish Kumar had recently surprised everyone by resigning from the membership of Bihar Legislative Council. Nitish, who has been a member of the Legislative Council continuously since 2006, has held the command of Bihar for almost 20 years. Since his resignation, there was a lot of speculation as to when he would leave the post of CM. The rules say that if a person is elected to the Rajya Sabha, he has to give up his membership of the current House (Assembly or Council) within 14 days, otherwise his Rajya Sabha membership may be cancelled.
Who will take charge of Bihar in place of Nitish?
Nitish Kumar’s next step has attracted the attention of the entire country, but the biggest question is who will be his successor? There is talk in the corridors of JDU that Nitish wants a face who can carry forward his political legacy and also take his son Nishank along with him. Along with this, the possibility of major changes in the formula of the new cabinet is also being expressed.
Will Samrat Chaudhary be the next ‘Boss’ of Bihar?
The eyes of political pundits are fixed on whether Nitish Kumar has made up his mind? During his ‘Samriddhi Yatra’, Nitish Kumar has been calling Samrat Chaudhary as his successor from many forums. The way Nitish greeted Samrat Chaudhary even after the Rajya Sabha elections, it is indicating that he can hand over the command to this strong BJP leader. However, the final decision will be decided by the combination of Nitish’s choice and BJP’s high command strategy. After April 14, it is considered certain that a new era will begin in the politics of Bihar.
