Big blast from Yogi government! 1.5 crore youth will get free tablets and daughters will get Rs 25 thousand in their account, know the complete details

Lucknow: The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has opened the doors of treasury for the youth, students and women of the state. During a grand program organized in the capital Lucknow on Monday (30 March), Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made several big announcements regarding the development and empowerment of the state. CM Yogi not only handed over smartphones and appointment letters to 70 thousand Anganwadi workers, but also directly transferred scholarships worth Rs 3350 crore through DBT to the accounts of more than 28 lakh students of the state. The faces of the students lit up with this gift.

1.5 crore youth will get free tablets

Taking steps towards realizing the dream of Digital India, CM Yogi announced that 1.50 crore more youth of the state will soon be given tablets. Under ‘Swami Vivekananda Youth Empowerment Scheme’, the government aims to equip a total of 2 crore youth with digital gadgets. CM informed that till now 50 lakh students have received tablets and for the remaining 1.5 crore youth, a special provision of Rs 2375 crore has been made in this budget.

Getting benefits of government schemes without discrimination

Addressing the program, the Chief Minister said that when service becomes a part of the government’s sensibility, the goal is not caste or sect but ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’. Taking aim at the previous governments, he said that in 2016-17, the SP government had diverted the scholarship money of Scheduled Caste and Tribe students to other purposes, due to which the poor students were deprived. As soon as the Yogi government came to power, it not only improved the system but also made the old pending payments. Today about 67 lakh students of the state are getting the benefit of scholarship without any discrimination.

Gift of ‘Kanya Sumangala’ to 26 lakh daughters

To secure the future of daughters, CM Yogi mentioned ‘Mukhyamantri Kanya Sumangala Yojana’. He said that 26 lakh daughters of the state are being benefited through this scheme. From the birth of the daughter till her graduation, the government sends a total amount of Rs 25 thousand directly into their bank accounts in six phases. An additional provision of Rs 400 crore has been made for this scheme in the new budget. Apart from this, Rs 525 crore has also been allocated for the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana.

Special arrangements for working women and Anganwadi workers

Yogi government has decided to build modern hostels with a capacity of 500 in cities like Lucknow, Gautam Buddha Nagar and Ghaziabad for the convenience of working women. Along with giving smartphones to Anganwadi workers, the CM gave another big good news. He indicated that soon the salary of Anganwadi workers will also be increased, so that their financial condition can further improve.
