‘Big blow’ to AAP: Raghav Chadda, Ashok Mittal and Sandeep Pathak joined BJP, Nitin Nabin joined the party.

After resigning from Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Rajya Sabha members Raghav Chadda, Sandeep Pathak and Ashok Mittal reached the headquarters of Bharatiya Janata Party on Friday evening and joined the BJP. During this, the party’s national president Nitin Nabin welcomed all the MPs into the party and made them sweet.
Let us tell you, some time ago Raghav Chadda, Sandeep Pathak and Ashok Mittal had announced their resignation from Aam Aadmi Party and joining BJP. Raghav Chadha said in a post on social media platform Seven MPs have signed the document, which was handed over to the Rajya Sabha Chairman. I, along with two other MPs, personally handed over the signed documents.

Aam Aadmi Party accused BJP of breaking the party
At the same time, Aam Aadmi Party has called it ‘Operation Lotus’ of BJP. The party alleges that a conspiracy has been hatched to break AAP leaders by showing fear of central agencies like ED and CBI. AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh said that through Operation Lotus, BJP wants to destabilize the Bhagwant Mann government of Punjab.
Aam Aadmi Party has deviated from its ideals: Maliwal
After the announcement of merger of Aam Aadmi Party with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) by forming a separate faction, Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal said that the party has deviated from its ideals. Maliwal said on Twitter, “In 2006, I left my job and chose the path of serving the country.
Working diligently for years in the RTI movement, Anna movement, formation of Aam Aadmi Party and Delhi Women Commission, I contributed with full honesty and dedication at every stage. The principles, values and determination of honest politics with which we started this journey. Today, it has to be said with great sadness that at the behest of Arvind Kejriwal and his entire Aam Aadmi Party has deviated from those ideals.”
He said, “I was severely beaten and abused at his residence at his behest. He worked hard to protect his goon and awarded him big posts. He threatened to destroy me and tried everything possible.”
Maliwal said, “In view of the increasing corruption in the Aam Aadmi Party under the patronage of Kejriwal, incidents of harassment and assault on women, promotion of goonda elements and fraud and loot happening with Punjab, I have decided to leave the party today. I had come to Itanagar for the parliamentary committee meeting at this time. I will talk in detail on this topic after returning to Delhi tonight.”
