Big crisis over Maharashtra from March 17 to 20; Alert issued for 72 hours

According to meteorologist Krishnanand Hosalikar, there is a possibility of rain with thunder in the afternoon from March 13 to March 16 in parts of Vidarbha, Marathwada, Khandesh and Madhya Maharashtra. During this time, there is also a chance of lightning, gale force winds, rain and hail to some extent.

Sporadic rain is expected in the districts of Pune, Dhule, Jalgaon, Ahilyanagar, Satara, Nashik, Sangli, Kolhapur and Solapur between March 15 and 16. The agriculture department has appealed to plan the agricultural activities by keeping an eye on the latest weather forecast and take necessary precautions to avoid damage to the crops due to possible rains and storms.
