Big decision of AAP, Raghav Chadha removed from the post of Rajya Sabha Deputy Leader, ban on speaking time also

Tezzbuzz Desk- In an important organizational change, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has removed Raghav Chadha from the post of Deputy Leader in Rajya Sabha. In this regard, the party has given information by sending an official letter to the Rajya Sabha Secretariat. Also, the party has also requested that he should not be allotted time to speak in Parliament.

AAP has appointed Ashok Mittal, who is an MP from Punjab, as the new deputy leader in the Rajya Sabha. This decision is being linked to possible differences going on within the party, although no dispute has been officially confirmed by the party.

There was speculation of distance between Raghav Chadha and the party leadership for some time. Now after this decision these discussions have gained further strength.

Raghav Chadha has been one of the early leaders of Aam Aadmi Party. He started his political career with Arvind Kejriwal in 2012 during the Delhi Lokpal movement. After this, his stature in the party grew rapidly and he emerged as national spokesperson, treasurer and chief strategist.

He contested the Lok Sabha elections from South Delhi in 2019, but faced defeat. After this, in 2020, he strengthened his political hold by winning the assembly elections from Rajendra Nagar seat of Delhi.

In the year 2022, he became the youngest Rajya Sabha MP at the age of 33 and continued to play an important role in the parliamentary work of the party. In 2023, he was made the leader of the party in Rajya Sabha in place of Sanjay Singh.

This new development has raised many questions regarding the internal equations of AAP, although the party has called it a normal organizational change.
