Big decision of Bihar government: New rules of land dispute come into force!
Patna: Bihar government has announced to take strict action in land dispute cases. Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha said during the budget session in the Legislative Council that now a strict stand will be taken against the land mafias who encroach illegally on land disputes.
Now immediate action against land mafia
The government has instructed all administrative officers to identify two to four suspected land mafias everywhere. If any person tries to take possession of the land by making it disputed, a primary FIR will be registered against him immediately.
Action will also be taken on fake documents
Legal action will also be intensified against those who use fake documents in land disputes. The Deputy Chief Minister clarified that the job of the police is only to maintain law and order. The police will not go to the disputed land without informing the Circle Officer (CO).
There will be review every week
The government is regularly reviewing land dispute cases. The Deputy Chief Minister said that out of the total 40 lakh cases, about 11 lakh cases have been executed so far. After the implementation of the new rules, the process of settling land disputes will become faster.
This step of the government will not only help in controlling the land mafia, but will also make the process of resolving land disputes transparent and easy for the common citizens. This will also remove the problems of common people.
