Big decision of Nitish government, land fight will end!

Patna. Bihar government has taken an important decision to simplify the matters related to land and property, giving great relief to lakhs of people living in urban areas. For a long time, citizens living in urban areas were confused about the genealogy (family tree). Now, to solve this problem, the government has implemented a clear system.

Under the new decision of the state government, now people living in Municipal Corporation, Municipal Council and Nagar Panchayat areas will be able to get their genealogy directly from the Circle Officer (CO). This is expected to remove problems faced in matters like land-property, inheritance and name transfer to a great extent.

Confusion regarding genealogy ended in urban areas

Till now there was no designated competent authority to issue genealogy in urban Bihar. In rural areas, this responsibility rested with the Sarpanch, but in cities people had to visit different offices. Due to this, there was unnecessary delay in property distribution, filing and judicial matters. In view of this problem, the Revenue and Land Reforms Department has handed over the authority to issue genealogy in urban areas to the Circle Officer.

Claims timely and transparent service

Deputy Chief Minister cum Revenue and Land Reforms Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha has said that with this system people will get fast, transparent and accessible service. This will not only save time of the citizens but will also strengthen their confidence in land related matters.

Big relief in urban land system

With a clear system of issuing lineage, the land system of urban Bihar will be more simple, transparent and citizen-centric. With its implementation, land related disputes and problems in urban areas can be reduced to a great extent in the future.
