Big decision of the government! Two new airlines given permission to operate, passengers will get more options
Indigo Airlines has been in the news for the last few days. Recently, passengers were upset due to the cancellation of a large number of Indigo flights, due to which a debate had also arisen on the monopoly of Indigo Airlines. In fact, the number of air passengers has increased rapidly in the last few years. In view of this, the major airlines of the country increased the number of their aircraft, but despite this the problems of the passengers did not reduce.
Now a big step has been taken by the Central Government to provide more options to the passengers. In fact, the government has given operational approval to two new airline companies which are preparing to take off.
AI Hindi Air and FlyExpress get NOC
Let us tell you that AI Hindi Air and FlyExpress have been approved to operate by the Central Government. No objection certificate has been issued to both these companies. On one hand, competition in the domestic aviation market has increased due to IndiGo crisis and increasing operational pressure on other airlines, at such a time this decision of the Central Government is considered very important. In fact, this step taken by the government is being seen as an attempt to reduce the excessive dominance of the companies present in the domestic aviation sector and to bring balance in the market. Please note that NOC has already been given to Shankh Air.
Will passengers benefit?
Recently, questions of monopoly were raised regarding Indigo Airlines. Let us tell you that IndiGo alone holds about 65 percent share in the domestic market. If Air India and India Express are taken together, this share reaches almost 90 percent. In such a situation, this big decision taken by the government will not only increase competition, but can also see a balance in ticket prices. Airlines will try to improve the quality of their service and try to provide more choices to passengers. In fact, in the coming time, new companies like AI Hindi Air, FlyExpress and Shankh Air are going to enter, which will further intensify the competition in the Indian aviation market.
