Big fall in gold and silver: Know today’s latest rates and trading updates on MCX
Gold Price Today : There is continuous fluctuation in the prices of gold and silver. Amid the ongoing geopolitical turmoil in the Middle East, once again a decline in the prices of both precious metals was recorded on Tuesday. This morning on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), both gold and silver were seen trading in the red.
At around 11:37 am, gold for delivery on June 5 was trading at Rs 1,50,550 per 10 grams, down 0.77 percent. Similarly, silver for delivery on May 5 also saw a sharp fall and fell by 1.91 percent to Rs 2,37,199 per kg.
Strong movement seen throughout the day
On Tuesday, gold for delivery on June 5 opened at Rs 1,51,700 per 10 grams, while on Monday it closed at Rs 1,51,721 per 10 grams. During the day’s trading, gold rose to a high of Rs 1,51,802 per 10 grams and then slipped to a low of Rs 1,50,450 per 10 grams.
A declining trend was seen throughout the day
Talking about silver, silver for delivery on May 5 opened today at Rs 2,40,490 per kg, which had closed at Rs 2,41,824 the previous day. During the day, silver prices fell from a high of Rs 2,41,250 per kg to a low of Rs 2,36,450 per kg.
Bullion market remained bullish on Monday
On the other hand, on Monday, a slight rise in gold was recorded in the bullion market of Delhi, while a good rise was seen in the prices of silver. According to All India Bullion Association, on Monday silver closed at Rs 2,50,500 per kg with an increase of Rs 3,500. During the same period, gold of 99.9 percent purity had increased by Rs 200 to Rs 1,56,100 per 10 grams.
