According to India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA), the price of 24 carat gold has fallen by almost ₹143 per 10 grams to ₹1,55,525. At the same time, a huge fall of more than ₹ 2,000 per kg has been seen in the prices of silver, due to which it is trading around ₹ 2.50 lakh. (Market Analysis)US Fed Meeting: Investors have booked profits before the seasonal policy meeting of the US Federal Reserve. The market expects that the interest rates may remain stable in the range of 3.5% to 3.75%. Dollar Index: The pressure on gold has increased due to the strength of the dollar in the international market. Middle East Tension: Although the demand for gold remains as a safe investment due to the Iran-Israel conflict, at the moment technical correction dominates. MCX Update: April futures gold is trading around ₹ 1,55,649 on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). While May futures silver has been seen at the level of ₹2,51,118 per kg.
