Big game may soon happen in this Congress ruled state, CM trapped in ED's clutches
New Delhi. The Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA) land scam is currently dominating the politics of Karnataka. Meanwhile, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has seized immovable properties worth Rs 300 crore of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and his other associates. The investigating agency has given this information on Friday.
142 properties were seized
ED officials said on Friday that this action has been taken in a money laundering case. Under this, 142 properties of CM Siddaramaiah and his associates have been seized. ED issued a statement saying that the seized properties were registered in the names of different people.
These allegations have been leveled against MUDA
Let us tell you that Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA) is accused of giving properties to many people at very low prices. Among these, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's wife Parvati was given 14 sites in the posh area of Mysuru. These sites were allotted for only Rs 3 lakh 24 thousand 700.
Will it be played in Karnataka?
There is talk in the political circles of Karnataka that the MUDA issue is so big that it can lead to a major change in the politics of the state. If ED tightens its grip on CM Siddaramaiah and his associates in this case, then a big political change can be seen in Karnataka. It is known that there are continuous reports of factionalism in the Congress government of Karnataka.
