Big gift from CM Yogi: 2 big good news for these employees
Lucknow. Good news has emerged for the education sector employees in Uttar Pradesh. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced in the House on Friday that 1,43,781 Shiksha Mitras and 24,781 instructors in the state will now be entitled to increased honorarium every month. Under this, the salary of Shiksha Mitras has been increased from Rs 10,000 to Rs 18,000 and that of instructors from Rs 9,000 to Rs 17,000.
Actually, for a long time there was a demand by Shiksha Mitras and instructors to increase the honorarium. Yogi government has given them relief by accepting this demand. Shiksha Mitras have described it as a “sanjivani” amid inflation, which will improve the financial condition of their family.
CM also said that now all teachers and non-teaching staff will also get cashless health facility up to Rs 5 lakh. This facility will be applicable from April 1, 2026 and will ensure both economic and health security for the family of the employees.

Uttar Pradesh government has given a big increase in the salary of 1,43,781 Shiksha Mitras and 24,781 instructors. Now Shiksha Mitras will get Rs 18,000 and instructors will get Rs 17,000 every month. Earlier, Shiksha Mitras were receiving only Rs 10,000 and instructors Rs 9,000.
2.Cashless health facility
The government also announced cashless medical facility of up to Rs 5 lakh for all teachers and non-teaching staff. This facility will be implemented from April 1, 2026 and will prove to be a big relief package for the employees and their families.
