Lucknow, 26 February. Before Holi, the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has given Holi gift to the government employees and pensioners of the state. In this gift, it has been said that salary and pension will be received before time. The government has issued an order saying that the salaries of government employees for the month of February will be released on February 28. Similarly, it has also been decided to release pension to pensioners.
Yogi government will also pay pension and family pension on 28th February itself. This change has been made by the government in the date of salary distribution due to holidays, so that employees and pensioners do not face any kind of financial problem before the festival.
According to the mandate issued by the government, March 1 will be a general holiday and March 2 will be a public holiday on the occasion of Holika Dahan. Thus, considering the possibility of delay in release of salaries due to continuous holidays, the government has already decided to pay salaries. Please note that this order has been issued with the permission of the Governor.
An order has been given from the Office of School Education and State Project Director to pay salaries before March 2. This order has been issued by Monica Rani, Director General of School Education, Uttar Pradesh. The order states that Holika Dahan is on Monday (March 2) and Holi festival is on Wednesday (March 4).

Detailed instructions in this regard have been issued by Finance Accounts Section-1 regarding salary and pension. In the order issued, it has been clarified that employees of aided educational institutions and personnel of local bodies will also come under the purview of this decision. All District Magistrates and Treasurer have been directed to ensure payment of salary, pension and family pension on 28th February. The government has given instructions for immediate compliance and said that there should not be any delay in payment at any level. In this way, Holi of employees and pensioners is going to be good this time.
