Deputy CM and Revenue and Land Reforms Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha gave clear instructions to the officials in the departmental review meeting that now the process of filing and rejecting should be completed within the stipulated time limit. Its objective is that people do not have to make unnecessary trips in land related work.

New rules and deadlines

Vijay Kumar Sinha said that the application for rejection should be made within 90 days (three months) of the land registry. Adherence to this time limit will not only speed up the process but will also ensure public convenience and administrative accountability.

New format in e-measurement

Major changes were also made in the meeting regarding e-measurement report. Now the standard form prescribed by the department will be mandatory. This will bring uniformity and transparency in reporting. The process of land survey and digital record updating will be smooth and reliable.

Fairs being held in various districts of the state were also discussed in the meeting. The minister said that many fairs are related to cultural heritage and revenue system.
