Big order of Rs 1,600 crore to Thermax subsidiary, boiler supply for 800 MW ultra-supercritical power plant

New Delhi: Thermax Babcock & Wilcox Energy Solutions (TBWS), a subsidiary of energy solutions provider Thermax, has won a boiler package supply order worth approximately Rs 1,600 crore for a state-of-the-art thermal power project. According to the company, this order has been received from a leading thermal power project company of India for an 800 MW plant. The order includes manufacturing, supply, commissioning and performance testing of the boiler, the statement said.

Ashish Bhandari, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Thermax, said, “This order is a significant success for Thermax and further strengthens our capabilities in handling large energy projects.
