Big preparation of Bihar government: These families will get 2 new good news

Patna. Bihar government has started preparations to provide major relief to landless families. Under Abhiyaan Basera-2 in the state, the process of giving homestead rights to thousands of eligible families has been expedited. The aim of the government is to provide permanent residence to those families who do not have their own land to live on. Under this campaign, on August 15, 2026, about 30 thousand eligible landless families will be given settlement certificates.

Special campaign will run in all districts

Bihar government has issued guidelines to all the districts to complete this scheme on time. Officials have been instructed to check and finalize the list of beneficiaries. The details of the new eligible families will be registered on the Abhiyaan Basera portal and they have been asked to complete all the necessary paperwork within the stipulated time.

Preparations will have to be completed by July 31

The government has directed all the districts to complete the process of preparation and verification of certificates of eligible families by July 31, 2026. This entire process will also be monitored, so that there is no negligence or delay.

The entire process will be done through online portal

To maintain transparency in the scheme, the process of issuing certificates has been made online. Information of beneficiaries will be entered through the Abhiyaan Basera portal, which will keep the records safe and reduce the possibility of irregularities.

Target of 30 thousand families in 38 districts

The state government has set a target to provide benefits to eligible families in all 38 districts of Bihar. The maximum number of beneficiaries has been targeted for Patna district, where a large number of families will be given homestead certificates. Apart from this, families of many districts including East Champaran, Muzaffarpur, Madhubani, Gaya, Samastipur, Saran and Darbhanga will also get the benefit.
