Employees Provident Fund Organization i.e. EPFO is going to make a big digital change for crores of its account holders. In the coming time, you will neither have to visit offices nor wait for many days to withdraw PF money. Soon PF amount can be withdrawn through both ATM and UPI.
New facility may start from April 2026
According to sources, EPFO can start ATM and UPI based PF withdrawal facility from April 2026. For this, the organization is upgrading its entire digital system. The Ministry of Labor and Employment has already indicated that PF withdrawal will be made easier and faster. In this direction, such arrangements are now being made in which no additional permission will be required to withdraw money up to the prescribed limit.
EPFO 3.0 trial almost complete
According to information EPFO 3.0 Trial of all the necessary modules related to this has been completed. So far, no major technical problems have come to light. Nevertheless, the organization is taking full precautions, so that the account holders do not face any problem after the launch of the facility. The system is being tested from every aspect, so that everything runs smoothly after the launch.
How will the new system make work easier?
Under the new system, employees will be given an ATM card linked to their PF account. With the help of this card, money can be withdrawn directly from the ATM up to the prescribed limit. Apart from this, payment and transfer from PF balance will also be possible through UPI. That means, in times of emergency, you can immediately withdraw cash or make digital payments, that too without any hassle.

Already getting 75% withdrawal discount
It is also worth remembering that a few months ago EPFO had allowed account holders to withdraw up to seventy-five percent of their PF deposits. This decision provided relief to lakhs of employees at the time of financial crisis. Now when the withdrawal facility through ATM and UPI will start, this process will become even easier and faster.
