Aam Aadmi Party: Aam Aadmi Party has sent its petition to the Chairman and Vice President of Rajya Sabha to cancel the membership of all the MPs including Raghav Chadha who joined BJP by betraying the people of Punjab.

Sharing this information on Sunday, senior leader and MP Sanjay Singh said that constitutional experts are also of the opinion that all the MPs leaving Aam Aadmi Party and merging with BJP are certain to lose their membership. The seven MPs have not only betrayed AAP but also betrayed the people of Punjab, democracy and the Constitution. BJP is expert in the game of sabotage. BJP first scares the opposition leaders with ED-CBI and then includes them in its party.

Left the party and merged with BJP

While addressing a press conference at the AAP headquarters on Sunday, Sanjay Singh said that the experts of the Constitution, the country’s senior advocate and constitutional expert Kapil Sibal, PDT Acharya and many others have made it clear that the membership of all the seven people who have decided to leave the Aam Aadmi Party and merge with the BJP will definitely end. In a media interaction on Saturday, a Supreme Court advocate associated with the NDA constituent party also clearly said that the membership of these leaders will be lost in any case.

Membership of all seven members should be terminated

Sanjay Singh further said that after talking to all the experts and taking the opinion of Kapil Sibal, I have sent a petition to the Chairman of Rajya Sabha and the Vice President of the country. In this petition, it has been requested that as per the rules of the 10th Schedule of the Constitution, the membership of these seven members should be completely abolished. I have demanded from the Vice President (Chairman) that he should hear it as soon as possible and give a just decision on his behalf.

Misuse of ED, CBI and other investigating agencies

Sanjay Singh said that this action is necessary because when a leader is elected from a party, then he is broken by misusing ED, CBI and other investigating agencies and BJP, which is expert in this game, joins him in its party, which is completely wrong. This is a big betrayal of democracy. This is also a betrayal and betrayal of the people of Punjab. Along with this, it is an act of betrayal and open mockery of the country’s Constitution.

Will cancel membership by giving decision soon

Sanjay Singh further said that if a person has been elected from a party and he has any differences, he should resign from that party and go to a place where his ideology matches. But those who have been elected by the MLAs of the same party are today abusing the same party. Therefore, I have full hope and confidence that the Chairman will soon give a decision on this petition and cancel the membership of these people.

Reminded of the 10th Schedule of the Constitution

Sanjay Singh said that there are many decisions of the Supreme Court in this matter which make it clear how their membership can be lost. Apart from this, it is clearly written in the 10th Schedule of the Constitution that the Constitution of India does not allow any such political subversion at all.

Political sabotage was done

On the possibility of filing a petition and prolonging the matter in the court, Sanjay Singh said that there are many such examples where the court has given decisions. The cases of Uttarakhand and Arunachal Pradesh can be remembered when this type of political sabotage was carried out there, then the Supreme Court had given its verdict. Sometimes delays are frustrating but we will fight it legally. Everyone has to accept what the Constitution says and it applies to everyone.

On rumors of Punjab MLAs being in touch with Raghav Chadha and joining BJP, Sanjay Singh said that such false news will be propagated by BJP, Raghav Chadha and others.
