Big suspense still remains on 5 seats in Jharkhand assembly elections, many leaders will file nomination today

Jharkhand Chunav: Suspense still persists on five seats of the state in Jharkhand Assembly elections. NDA's largest party BJP has not announced its candidate for Barhet and Tundi seats. Apart from Bokaro and Dhanbad, which is in the Congress's share, the candidate has not been announced for the Bagodar seat which is in the CPI-ML's share.

Voting is to be held in the second phase on these five seats: Barhet, Tundi, Bokaro, Dhanbad and Bagodar. The last date for nomination is October 29. According to the information received, BJP can field Mandal Murmu from Barhet. However, suspense remains regarding the names of the candidates on all the seats.

Ministers, MLAs as well as many stalwarts will file nominations on Monday for the second phase of Jharkhand assembly elections. BJP's Babulal Marandi from Dhanwar, Sita Soren from Jamtara, Narayan Das from Deoghar, Aparna Sengupta from Nirsa and Randhir Kumar Singh from Sarath will file nomination.

On the other hand, from JMM's side, minister Baby Devi from Dumri, Hafeezul Hasan from Madhupur, Stephen Marandi from Maheshpur, Lewis Marandi from Jama, apart from Pradeep Yadav and Devendranath Singh from Podaiyahat, Mamta Devi from Ramgarh, Jaleshwar Mahato from Baghmara and Shatrughan Mahato, Giridih. Many including Nirbhay Kumar Shahabadi from Nala and Madhav Chandra Mahato from Nala will file nomination forms.
