Big twist in Kapsad village murder case: Accused of murder of Dalit woman arrested, 20 year old daughter recovered safely.

Meerut: There has been a new twist in the incident of murder of a Dalit woman and kidnapping of her 20-year-old daughter in Kapsad village of Sardhana police station area. Amidst the tension and uproar, the police arrested the absconding accused late Saturday evening. The girl has also been recovered.

SSP Dr. Vipin Tada said that the police has achieved success through electronic surveillance and other means. The police is investigating and interrogating this matter. No one will be allowed to spoil the atmosphere.

SSP Dr. Vipin Tada said that the police team has arrested kidnapping accused Paras Som from Haridwar. The police also recovered the kidnapped girl safely. After this he was handed over to his family members. The SSP said that after the incident, a total of 12 police teams were formed under the leadership of two Superintendents of Police. A large-scale, intensive operation was conducted in 4 states and 7 districts to find the girl and the accused. It took 60 hours to catch the accused Paras. Security arrangements were also made available to the family members.

It is noteworthy that Mandeep of Kapsad village had told that on January 8, like every day, mother Sunita and sister Ruby (20) were going towards the forest. Then Paras Som, a resident of the village, reached there and started kidnapping the sister. When the mother protested against this, he attacked her with a sharp weapon. After this Sunita died in the hospital. After Sunita’s death, tension arose in the village and politics also started.

After more than 50 hours, people became angry when there was no trace of the girl and the young man. Due to which force has been deployed in the village. At the same time, the government and administration are on alert after receiving information about the arrival of leaders of opposition parties in the village. The police administration is stopping the leaders coming to the village at the toll plaza itself, due to which there is a continuous uproar.

Village entry closed: At the same time, the Superintendent of Police has formed 10 teams of more than 200 policemen to arrest the accused. In view of the tense situation in the village, people are being stopped outside the village by putting up barricades. All roads leading to Kapsad village have been closed. Every road in the village is guarded by police and RAF teams. No party leader or social worker is being allowed to go to the village.

Congress delegation was not allowed to enter the village: Azad Samaj Party President and Nagina MP Chandrashekhar was reported to be visiting Kapsad. After which the police administration is on alert. Police is searching every person going towards Kapsad village. At the same time, a Congress delegation had reached Meerut to meet the victim Dalit family. As soon as the delegation reached near Kapsad village, the police stopped it from entering the village. The members of the delegation tried hard to meet the victim’s family, but the administration did not allow them to enter the village. Due to which anger was seen in them.

In this regard, Congress Committee Law Department Chairman Ali Asif Jama Rizvi said that the delegation had gone to meet the victimized Dalit family of Kapsad village, but they were not allowed to meet. Manoj Rai, Alok Kumar, Savita Gautam and Kiran Sharma, who were part of the delegation, said that they had gone to console the victim’s family and to get complete information regarding the incident and to help the victim’s family in legal proceedings. Despite information about which was already given to the authorities, the victim’s family was not allowed to meet. Which is completely condemnable.

Demand for bulldozer action: SP leaders and Bhim Army officials have demanded bulldozer action against the accused from the state government. Leaders belonging to the ruling party have also expressed grief over this incident and termed it as a disgusting act. At the same time, some leaders say that the opposition is trying to blow it out of proportion. Let us tell you that the last rites of the deceased woman were performed last evening in the presence of police and administration. Still no trace of the girl has been found. Police have detained 6 people in this case, but till now the police has not been able to catch the killer.

Nagina MP Chandrashekhar reached Meerut, stopped by police: Nagina MP Chandrashekhar Azad reached Meerut on Saturday. The police stopped him at Kashi toll plaza. When SP Traffic Raghavendra Mishra did not allow them to go ahead, the party workers got angry. MP Chandra Shekhar was adamant on going to Kapsad. There is a gathering of police and administration officials at the toll plaza itself. A large number of policemen were deployed.
