New Delhi. An important update has come out regarding the 8th Pay Commission for lakhs of central government employees and pensioners. The process related to the recommendation which was awaited for a long time has now gained momentum. The Commission has started the process of taking suggestions and suggestion letters from the stakeholders, so that the participation of the employees can be ensured.

Last date for giving suggestions extended

According to the report, the Commission has clarified that the last date for submission of memorandum has been fixed as April 30. Earlier, the deadline for some organizations was April 20, but now this time has been extended for all stakeholders. Its objective is to give an opportunity to as many employee organizations, pensioners and other concerned parties as possible to express their views.

Employees-Pensioners Participation

In this process, not only organizations but also central government employees organizations, pensioners and other stakeholders can send their suggestions to the Commission. It is believed that this will make the salary structure more practical and in line with the current economic conditions.

Dialogue will be held in different states

The Commission has also indicated that additional meetings will be held in other states including Delhi, Maharashtra. The objective of these meetings is to directly communicate with employees from different sectors and understand their problems, so that recommendations can become more effective.
