Big update on CBSE Board 10th 2nd exam, important notice issued regarding LOC, students must know these rules

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the result of class 10th board examination on 15th April. Now CBSE has also issued notice related to LOC for private and regular students. According to which, the date of fee payment for Phase-1 and Phase-2 LOC submission has been fixed from 16th to 20th April. This process is mandatory for those students who want to appear in the second board examination.

The third phase for submission of LOC continues from 21st April to 22nd April 2026 with late fees. Such students who had applied for the second board examination but now do not want to appear in it after the result, they can get their names removed. Rules for second board exam

Students will also be allowed to change the Mathematics option. Students who had chosen Mathematics Standard in the main examination can now choose Basic Mathematics in the second examination. Those choosing Mathematics Basic will also be allowed to choose Mathematics Standard. Will be able to make changes in any other subject.

Eligible students who have passed the board exams will be given a chance to improve their performance in only three subjects – Science, Mathematics, Social Science and Language. Apart from this, compartment category and sports students can sit in it. Students who have been included in the essential repeat category will not be allowed to appear in the second board examination.

What update for private students?

CBSE has also declared rules related to class 10th second board exam for private students. According to which these students will also be given a chance to improve their performance in three subjects. Students who have been included in compartment category in 2024-2025 can also participate in it. The date of public submission and payment for private students is also from 16th April to 20th April 2026. Registration can be done from April 21 to April 22 with late fees. Students will be allotted examination centers as per the choices selected in the online form. That is why it is advisable to choose the city correctly. Because changes will not be allowed later.
