Australia tour of Pakistan & Bangladesh: Australia has announced the team for the tour of Pakistan and Bangladesh. A total of 9 white ball matches will be played on these two tours, for which 24 players have been given place. During this team announcement, a big update was also given on those 7 Australian players, who are currently playing with their respective teams in IPL 2026. Update on 7 Australian players playing IPL
Before knowing about the 24 players who have been selected for the Pakistan-Bangladesh tour, let us give you an update on the 7 Australian players who are currently playing in IPL 2026. Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Pat Cummins has been kept out of both these tours in IPL 2026. Whereas Travis Head, who plays for SRH, will join the team on Bangladesh tour instead of going to Pakistan. Delhi Capitals’ Mitchell Starc and RCB’s Josh Hazlewood will also not be part of the Australian team on the Pakistan-Bangladesh tour. There is news about Xavier Bartlett, Cooper Connolly and Ben Dwarsuis, who are playing for Punjab Kings, that they will join the team in Bangladesh.

Australia has to play 3 ODI series on Pakistan tour, the matches of which will be played in Rawalpindi and Lahore on 30 May, 2 June and 4 June. The reins of the team have been handed over to Mitchell Marsh for this match. Whereas Olly Peak, who scored 234 runs at an average of 78 in the Under-19 World Cup, has also been selected in this team. Apart from him, another new face of the team will be all-rounder Liam Scott. Olly Peak will not be with the team on the Bangladesh tour. Whereas Liam Scott will be with the team in the ODI series played there also.
When is the series in Bangladesh?
The ODI series matches against Bangladesh will be played on 9, 11 and 14 June. Whereas 3 matches of T20 series will be played on 17, 19 and 21 June. The ODI series against Bangladesh will be played in Dhaka. Whereas all three matches of the T20 series will be played in Chattogram.
