Country. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is going to take oath as Rajya Sabha member on April 10. Earlier, he was elected to the Upper House of Parliament on March 16 and resigned from the membership of Bihar Legislative Council on March 30.
With the oath of Rajya Sabha, Nitish Kumar will join the list of select leaders who have been members of all four houses – Legislative Assembly, Legislative Council, Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. This list already includes Lalu Prasad Yadav, Upendra Kushwaha and late Sushil Kumar Modi.

Despite being elected as Rajya Sabha member, Nitish Kumar remains active in the work of the state. On Wednesday, he inspected the efficiency building of Bipard Skill Park of Valmi campus in Patna and took stock of the arrangements.
During this, he interacted with the students and inspired them to take better training and become self-reliant. The Chief Minister said that the government is committed to providing employment and technical training to the youth, so that their future can be secure.
He also inspected the arrangements of the hostels and instructed the officials to keep the campus well-organized and take full care of the facilities of the students.
The Chief Minister reiterated that it is the priority of the government to make the youth of Bihar efficient and self-reliant, so that they can get maximum employment opportunities.
