Bigg Boss 18: Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar’s reunion failed to happen; here’s why
Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar, two of the biggest stars in Hindi cinema, have always been a powerhouse when they’re together. On 19 January, Akshay Kumar visited the Bigg Boss 18 sets with debutante Veer Pahariya to promote his forthcoming film Sky Force. But the eagerly anticipated reunion never materialized.
To to promote their next movie, Sky Force, Akshay and Veer visited the Bigg Boss 18 grand finale sets. The crowd would have enjoyed Akshay and Salman’s reunion, and they were meant to have some lighthearted banter with the presenter.
“Being as punctual as he is, Akshay turned up on the set for his shoot at the scheduled time, around 2:15pm. But Salman hadn’t come by then. Akshay waited for an hour for Salman to come, but he had a trial screening of Jolly LLB 3 in his schedule. Thus, after waiting for an hour, Akshay returned without even shooting for the show,” stated an insider.
The source added as quoted by HT, “Akshay and Salman eventually spoke and Akshay told him that he had to leave for a prior commitment. Salman also said that he hopes to have him on the show some other time.”
Eisha Singh, Avinash Mishra, Karanveer Mehra, Vivian Dsena, Rajat Dalal, and Chum Darang will compete for the winner’s trophy in Bigg Boss 18’s big finale tonight.
