Malti Chahar recently gave an interview to Siddharth Kannan, in which she told about everything from ‘Bigg Boss 19′ house to her parents’ house. During this, Malti recalled her childhood days and told that the relationship between her parents was very tense, which had a deep impact on her childhood and her. Malti told that her father had broken relations with her till she completed her 12th class studies.

Malti said, ‘There was a lot of tension between my parents. He was always fighting. Being the elder daughter, I had to see all this. My brother had started playing cricket, so he was away from these fights. We lived in a 1BHK house, so where do you go when your parents are fighting? Many times it used to happen that after a fight with my father, my mother would hit me. Sometimes father also used to do the same. They never realized how badly all this was affecting me. There was a lack of mutual understanding between them, currently, they are living separately from each other for the last 13 years.

Malti further said, ‘I told my father that I want to participate in the Miss India Beauty Contest and make a career in the entertainment industry. But he wanted me to become an IPS officer. He believed that I should keep these desires away and concentrate on my studies. Malti told that she was forced to keep short hair till 11th class. He was never given any freedom. This had a deep impact on him.
