Mumbai: Bigg Boss 19 winner Gaurav Khanna, in an exclusive interview with TV9, talked about his victory. The actor revealed he was going to invest the prize money.
I haven’t received the prize money in hand yet, but when I do, I’ll invest it wisely—I won’t waste it. And you shouldn’t either, because it’s hard-earned money,” said Gaurav.
He also added that his win belongs to those who believe in goodness.
“This victory isn’t mine alone—it’s the victory of every person who voted for me, who voted for goodness, who voted for someone who wanted to stay right and genuine in the house, someone who never used foul language, never went behind anyone’s back to speak ill of them, never created unnecessary issues. It’s the victory of such a person—and that is your victory,” said the Khanna in the interview.

Commenting on how he broke the perception of the show and contestants, Khanna stated, “I’ve always believed in what we were taught as kids—that goodness and truth always win. And when I came on this show, I had only one thought in my mind: even if I win or not, when I meet my family, my wife, my parent—I didn’t want them to say, ‘What did you end up doing in there?’”
He added, “So that’s why I didn’t do anything inside the house that I wouldn’t do in front of my parents or my wife. Because this is a reality show, and everyone told me that people like real people here. So I didn’t do anything that I don’t do at home.” He added, “I was completely real inside. People thought it was fake—their mistake.”
He remarked that people expected him to behave like an actor, but he stuck to his real personality. He added that the show made him calmer and more patient. He stated, “I didn’t want to be fake there. And the change that has come is that I’m more grounded now, I’ve understood better how difficult it is for people who manage the house—
how hard cooking really is.”
When asked if he would be part of any other reality show in the near future, he stated, ” I haven’t thought about anything yet. I haven’t really returned to the real world….”
